Process Travelers

Two standard routes, chosen by finish requirement. Every job moves from procured material to an inspected, finished component.

ROUTE A

Standard Heat-Treated Finish

For components where core hardness matters more than surface plating: heat treated, then ground once to final size.

Raw Material Procurement
Approved material grades, sourced for the job.
OP10
Precision Turning
High-accuracy CNC and manual lathe work.
OP20
Heat Treatment Coordination
Controlled treatment through approved vendors.
OP30
Cylindrical Grinding
Micron-level external and internal tolerances.
OP40
Dimensional Inspection
Micrometer, bore gauge, vernier and dial gauge.
OP50
Batch Production
Small to medium batches with consistent QC.
OP60
Complete Job Work
Inspected finished delivery, 5 mm to 1000 mm.
OP70
ROUTE B

Hard Chrome Finish

For high-wear surfaces: ground before plating, plated, then ground again for final size.

Raw Material Procurement
Approved material grades, sourced for the job.
OP10
Precision Turning
High-accuracy CNC and manual lathe work.
OP20
Cylindrical Grinding
Sized ahead of plating.
1 OF 2
OP30
Hard Chrome Plating
Wear resistance and corrosion protection.
OP40
Cylindrical Grinding
Brought back to final size.
2 OF 2
OP50
Dimensional Inspection
Micrometer, bore gauge, vernier and dial gauge.
OP60
Batch Production
Small to medium batches with consistent QC.
OP70
Complete Job Work
Inspected, finished component delivery.
